Counter Strike / NFS Underground

Since the internet is getting boring.. I wanna start playing CS again. I only played CS a couple of times. So, I dunno whats new anymore. What do I need to buy?? Or does anyone have it so I can install it?

Also, I'm gonna buy Alexei Need For Speed Undergound. Does anyone have that too? If so, What do you think of it? Should I buy it?

I was thinking about playing The Sims (PC) but I rather shoot people.

NFSU is pretty good. It gets old fast though as there's only one track in the whole game. It's a good starting point for EA, they can improve upon it a lot.

You can buy the Counter-Strike package by itself separate from Half-Life for about $20... Wal-Mart used to carry it on a regular basis if you want a local place to pick it up, and I'm sure places like Fry's or CrapUSA have it all the time too.

I used to play CS a lot, but it gets pretty boring when you run 84-14 on maps slaughtering the masses of newbies. I don't play very often anymore but can still keep up a good ratio even though I'm rusty. I also hate all the new mods since 1.3/1.4/1.5

i play need 4 speed. it is just like that dude says above. gets old after awhile. seems like only 1 track. but iss pretty cool in other ways. they should have named fast and furious instead. but then again i like fast and furious. "i live for that s**t" i am glad i got it.

Ya, I ended up getting the platinum collection because the CS standalone wasn't compatible with O.S. 2000. I upgraded to v1.5 and I downloaded all the new maps. I'm still a n00b to the game but I play for like 5 hours every day. I'm trying to get better. Thanks though. :D

well i work for a local lan center in vegas, called PLANETX1, and they are this shiznitty and have 49 top of the line gaming computers , we dont have NFS-Underground yet, but lots of Counter-Strike peps, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Warcraft III, etc... here

Anyone have a copy of CS they can let me install. I'm one of those that would rather contribute to piracy rather than spend a few bucks. I formatted my hard drive a while back and haven't really played the game much ever since.

I would let you use mine. But there's a CD-Key. I'm not sure if I can install it on other PC's with the same CD-Key.

I like bf1942, desert combat, nfs underground, and call of duty. but I dont play online.

I played cs once and it sucked it was just a bunch of lamers jumping up and down shooting at anything that moved it was really gay. :rolleyes:
