In 2003, Frank Yee was ecstatic to hear that Ford was putting superchargers along with built shortblocks in their Cobras. At the time, he never would have thought he would ever be able to afford one for himself. Putting the thought aside, he worked as hard as he could and it paid off.

One year after the “Terminator” was released, he went ahead and purchased a one from the local dealership Gaudin Ford. At first, the upgrades started with a K&N Air Filter and BF Goodrich Drag Radials. Then came a pulley, and the rest is history.

Frank has experimented with a few different setups for his Cobra and has particularly been fond of the current one. Being the owner of Voodoo Racing Innovations, Frank is able to put in most of the work on the himself.

Five years and countless of modifications later, Frank still loves his car just like the day he bought it. The car is currently putting out 850hp and has blasted down the 1320’ in 9.58 seconds at 143 miles per hour. Keep a look out for this car, cause Frank is planning a whole new setup for 2010.
